The world of internet is growing each day. The growth is enormous and is gigantic. People have made the virtual world their real world. Most of our lives are biased on the screens of our laptops, computers and mobile phones. Facebook , Whats App, Instagram, Twitter and all such social media sites have actually become one of our primary needs of our lives.
But, with the flourish of internet, came up another thing that has hitched the world to it. Online Games. Online gaming is the trend that is famous all around the world these days. People are spending most of their times in playing rather than spending their time in social media.

Online games like PUBG, Call of Duty, Counter Strike or GTA have been the biggest hits among gamers. Be it mobile gaming, or in PC or on emulators, these games have been the most popular games among gamer all around the world.

People, do have misconceptions about online games. They believe that these games make children way more violent and aggressive. Well, it is to be taken a note on, that these games are mainly made so that people can release their stress.

These games have different versions of them. Like Call of Duty has a number of versions of it like Call of Duty Mobile, Warzone, Ghosts. Even Counter Strike also has a number of versions like Counter Strike 1, 2 , 2 2002, Condition Zero, Half Life Mod.

Online games provide the players with a huge number of options be it paid or unpaid. Gamers have a choice to choose what they like and what not.

Recently, the gaming industry has taken over a huge portion of the government’s revenue that is collected. In 2018, the gaming industry collected a total of $ 138.7 billion with an enormous rise to $ 152.1 billion in 2019 as reported by Forbes.

Online games have also provided a number of chances to gamers to reach out to the world with their excellent gaming skills and represent their countries in the international gaming tournaments.

In brief, online games are expanding, and they will extend more in the near future with the development of technologies.
